[tool in use]

My user for this project mentioned the limitations that are caused by dyslexia vary from person to person. Due to certain Dyslexia friendly typefaces being made specifically by and for the designer, not everyone finds them as useful. Because of this I decided to code an interactive tool where the user can alter the baseline weight of specific characters to their own preference. Inspired by Dyslexie Font and OpenDyselxic the piece was coded with p5.js to skew the baseline structure of the Roboto Black typeface.

To support the presentation of the typeface to my user I made a simple Risograph-printed type specimen in the form of an A6 zine that I can send by post. The three main  sections show off three different options of character baseline weights to exhibit the interactive capabilities of the coded piece.
